Descriptions:The shadow play of Lingyuan City was incorporated by the State Council into the list of the first batch of the national intangible cultural heritages in 2006. Now, 360-plus traditional and modern scenarios and 4,000-strong volumes for the Chinese northern shadow plays have been collected, forming the largest shadow play AV databank. The Lingyuan shadow play art AV material shooting & production program is scheduled for implementation in 2008.


Profit making pattern and earnings forecast:The Lingyuan shadow play is a protected national intangible cultural heritage, while the program said in the title is a system project to provide the effective protection for the intangible cultural heritage with the historic, cultural and scientific values to China. To date, a shadow play art center has been built and integrated rehearsal, performance, exhibition, collection, production, academic exchange and tourist product development. The art center is expected to create an annual revenue of RMB 2 million, a profit of RMB 500,000 and a rate of return on investment of 15%.
